About the Church and Pastor

Pastor Scott Guiley became the pastor of Newby Baptist Church in January 1974. He married Jane in 1971 and they have three children, Jodi (Guiley) Griggs, Morgan Guiley, and Spencer Guiley, and two grandkids, Breanna and Adam Griggs. He is actively involved with the ministry to the jails,prisons,and has a nursing home outreach in many of the area nursing homes, and a monthly Bible study in some of the area Senior apartment complexes.
